You can’t Expect someone to Love you When you secretly Hate yourself…..
Let’s rip off the band-aid as we dive right into…… What does that even mean…..
Well for starters, let’s create a base point for you to recognize EXACTLY where & how you feel when you stand naked in front of the mirror and just looking at yourself exactly as you are…. How do you feel in TRUTH with YOURSELF? No holds bar, be completely OPEN & HONEST with yourself. Just take a few moments and look at yourself….. What are the initial thoughts and emotions that you feel coming to the surface? Allow yourself to Lean into Safe Space and just let it all come up……. What toxic and negative mindsets do you find yourself going to? Be honest, and know that it is ok…..
Now, Take a deeper look at the physical body that your SOUL has chosen to walk around on this planet, and experience your Human life as it is, in this moment……. What flaws or scars do you notice? Where do you see imperfections or blah, I wish this was more like this? Now, shake that all off and can you see if there any things you like about your body? Even just one? Lean into that as you witness the emotions that bubble up as you think about it. What warm or happy memories do you feel surfacing? What experiences and Adventures has your Body carried you through?
Now, take a moment and SEE beyond the body and just focus on your eyes. When you look at your Left Eye, what do you notice? Take a Step closer and look a little Deeper……. What do you SEE? Now, do the same with your Right Eye…… What do you notice & SEE?
When you take a step back, and bring your focus to your eyes as a whole, letting go of the body and reflecting on your eyes, do they feel connected or disconnected to each other? Then, take a moment and look at each eye on its own, closing the other eye….. And think about your inner Masculine & Feminine Energies….. What are they showing and communicating with you?
The Giving & The Receiving…..
More often than not the Left side of your body connects to your Feminine (Yin/Shakti) Energy, and the Right side of your body connects to your Masculine (Yang/Shiva) Energy. The brain is the Opposite to the body and the eyes are the bridge that links the two together.
So, when you take the above exercise and reflect back on closing your left eye and just focusing on your right, Lean into your Masculine Energy, and what is he sharing with you? Does he feel strong, capable, assertive, focused, and stable? Or is he feeling beaten, battered, off balance, stoic, and aggressive? Lean in deeper…… Now, call in your Highest SELF & Empowered Masculine Energy as you sit with these Shadow wounded aspects of yourself and have a little chat….. What is the deeper root of where this hatred and anger comes from? Where does he not feel good enough, valued or worthy for HOW he’s shown up in each moment? HOW can you Love, Accept, and Appreciate all the battles your Masculine faced and stepped through? Where do you PHYSICALLY feel you are still holding onto those old battles, and what could your life look and feel like, if you gave yourself PERMISSION to just let it all go? Trust the Process & Allow yourself to Expand your Experience
Now, Take a few moments, and repeat the above process with your Left eye, Close your Right eye and Lean into your Left Eye and the deeper Feminine Energy……. Where does she feel unloved and unlovable, rigid or cold, unsafe, not held and unheard? Are there any aspects of yourself where you feel in flow, open to softness, or safe to just BE Present in the moments you are Experiencing? Now, call back your Highest SELF and Empowered Feminine Energy, where can you sit by the river and just surrender those doubts and fears back into the River of Infinite Possibilities? What do you feel you are needing that you have yet to receive to feel safe within the Surrender? How can you HOLD Space for where you are and shift that inner narrative from harsh and overwhelmed, to peaceful and Tranquil?
Now, let’s take a look at that word SURRENDER….. What does it mean to Surrender, and How can you Learn to Let Go when your brain tells you to hold on tight to everything you’ve ever known…….. Firstly, let’s begin to understand, to surrender doesn’t mean you’re giving up, it doesn’t mean throwing in the towel and just walking away. As my mother would say, don’t throw the baby out with the bath water….. So, how can you stay focused on your future dreams and desires while letting go of the fact that you don’t have them yet? How can you TEACH your BODY to FEEL as if those dreams have already happened?
Let’s dive DEEPER……
To Surrender means you’re letting go of the things you cannot control. No matter how uncomfortable it may feel because it’s something you’ve Never really done before….. Now, before your Ego goes all ‘I want to control everything so then I don’t get hurt & I know what’s coming’ let me explain further what I mean….. You see, the key to Manifesting is knowing when to focus your energy on something and when to let go, because when you do let go, when you no longer NEED something to happen for you to feel better, You begin to change your ENERGY Beneath the surface of your physical human experience, and that’s when the magick really begins to happen.
You ALLOW the Universe and Forces greater than you to Assist your Dreams & Desires into Fruition…. You give yourself space AND permission to be surprised by the Universe, because no matter what that surprise is, you TRUST yourself to Rise up & Move through whatever is coming your way. Maybe you find yourself in the process of clearing the old as you create space for the new…. And this can feel REALLY uncomfortable at times…. So, how can you LEARN to LIVE within the space of IT ALREADY IS and Let go of NEEDING to know the HOW it is coming to you…… Because, the Universe can’t surprise you if you’re always looking for it, trying to control it….
To LIVE within that FUTURE version of yourself within the HERE & NOW…… Creating a DAILY practice of checking into your AURA, Connecting with that FUTURE version of you and asking HOW would you show up for you today? Then give yourself the space to sit and FEEL HOW the emotions within your body are feeling…. Do you feel aligned and connected, or off balance and out of sorts?
When you become AWARE of those deeper feelings and you sit and think about a healthy relationship, what do you feel that looks like, feels like, sounds like, smells like and tastes like? Let go of needing to see the face of the person and instead feel into the energy and emotions you are feeling….. Now, ask yourself…… What is your previous experience telling you is going to happen, and how can you REFRAME the experience to openly communicate your deeper desires and FEEL Safe & SEEN within each one of those experiences for YOU?
To Rewrite the stories of your past & FEED your ENERGY into the Possibility that you CAN Attract positive and healthy connections…. This means recognizing where you’ve not held healthy boundaries or FULLY spoken your Truth regarding a situation, and then give yourself permission to let that go. To understand that in every moment in your past you made the decisions you believed to be correct at every turn, based off your own level of depth, awarness and understanding that you had in those moments… So now, would you not make different choices because you know more, and have met yourself within a realm of greater depth than ever before? Where did you allow your boundaries to be stepped over or disregarded? This could be with yourself & others…. You see, The more we learn that energy flows where attention goes, we can better understand & ask the question, am I feeding my energy from a space of Awareness & High Vibrations or Past Programming & Experiences?
Once you step into this journey of diving deeper within your OWN self you can begin to understand that EVERY person on this planet has a white wolf AND a Black wolf….. The wolf that ultimately wins IS the wolf you feed…. But, what if instead of choosing one over the other, you held space for Both of them? What if you gave yourself PERMISSION to sit with both and learn to Love, Accept and APPRECIATE both of them? The black wolf being your Protector and Savior, and the white wolf being your Peace & Ease….. You see, you can’t really build healthy relationships or experiences while carrying the baggage of all your past lessons, experiences or relationships……. This is the first step to learning HOW to Love yourself and let go of that deep seeded self hatred… This process takes time & dedication to your OWN SELF. So remember to be Patient and Kind with yourself as you learn and grow…..
Because, Once you have that Desired future within your mind, you can Hold that vision and then, you get to decide HOW you want to show up for your day everyday……
To SURRENDER, is to hold a DEEP trust that no matter HOW it arrives, everything you have ever asked for is on it’s way to you always. That YOU are WILLING to let go of the control and all the past programs and beliefs telling you why it won’t happen, or all the obstacles you may face along the way…… What if you knew that no matter what your life holds, you’re never going to get it all done, and you CAN’T get it wrong…… What would you do and How can you Lean deeper into ENJOYING the in between as you continue to visualize your dream reality already happening FOR YOU?
Let’s use the Restaurant analogy for this to explain a little deeper….. When you go to the restaurant and order a meal… You can find yourself at a five star establishment or at your local Denny’s. Maybe you’re there to celebrate someone, have a birthday, or maybe you’re even on a date…… So, once you’ve sat down and gotten comfortable, you give the server your order, and they walk away…. You don’t then go back into the kitchen and tell the chef how to do all the things to create your meal do you?
No, you sit and enjoy the company you are with at the table…… Take a moment to reflect, Who are the people surrounding you and do they focus on all the complaints and struggles of life, or are they looking to the celebrations and abundance that life has to offer? If you find yourself surrounded by people always focusing on the struggle, what do you find yourself leaning further into within your own self? How draining does it feel to be surrounded by people hating life when you’re focused on finding the Gratitude and Appreciation? How different could you feel when you’re surrounded by people who are looking to the abundance already surrounding them?
You see, you become the average of the top 5 people you surround yourself with so, What are those future dreams and desires again, and are you surrounded by people feeding their own energy into positive and inspired action, or are they complaining about all the things they don’t have yet?
So, how can you learn to love yourself while feeding your SUBCONCIOUS Energy into the deliciousness of that meal when it arrives? It’s simple……
Learn to hold space and grace for yourself when things fall to shit, and understand that you can only meet others within the same level of depth, comprehension and understanding in which you are WILLING to meet yourself, while recognizing that other people can only meet you within that same level of depth, comprehension and understanding in which they are meeting themselves….
So, rolling back around to the above question of how can you expect someone to love you when you secretly hate yourself? Well, it’s actually quite simple….. You can’t expect someone to show up and shower you with all these positive and empowering experiences if all you are focused on is everything that’s going wrong….. Because, no matter how much light and love they offer you, you have to be willing to meet them in the middle and love yourself for all your quirks, weirdness, past mistakes, shadows and lessons, while celebrating the Radiant Light that is igniting within the depths of your Soul & Highest Timeline REALITY. It’s about sitting with all those pieces of yourself that you ‘hate’ and learning to say I choose to LOVE you anyways…..
Because no matter what, whether you’re hot mess crazy express or duckies in a row with DIVINE flow, you’re Value, worthiness and Sense of Wholeness never really changes…
